As part of the launching activities we are conducting for Devicare in Kuwait in its first year, we participated in the 5th Kuwaiti conference in urological surgery.

Al-mutanabbe Drug Store and our principle SOOFT-Fidia, participated in the International Congress of the Middle East and Africa Council of Ophthalmology, jointly with the Jordanian Ophthalmology Conference.

A novel product: GERDOFF, to protect and repair the esophageal mucosa in GERD management, was launched in Jordan. The launching symposium was attended by 80 Gastroenterologists, Pulmonologists, ENT Specialist and Internists, and presented by Prof. Edoardo Savarino, Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Padua, Italy. Among the audience was also the honorable Ambassador of Italy in Jordan, Mr. Fabio Cassese. 

Dinner with the Jordanian Food & Drug Association to bid farewell to one of the department managers. 

With the participation of our partner IBSA Italia and the presence of the International Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Antonello Tateo, the new and innovative product Profhilo was launched.

SOOFT’s new technique of Corneal Collagen Cross-linking by Iontophoresis for the treatment of Keratoconus was launched in Amman, Jordan. Al-Mutanabbe Drug Store invited all of Jordan’s ophthalmologists to attend its 3-day event where the Italian expert Ophthalmologist in Cross-linking Dr. Igor di Paolo discussed the advantages of the new technique and performed a demonstration of the procedure. In addition, the Italian team made visits to many ophthalmological surgical centers in the country.
